Welcome to where it all began! York County is home to the first Ag + Art Tour in 2012 and is excited to welcome our neighboring counties to the Ag + Art Family. Below are the farms and artisans that will be on this year's tour. We invite you to explore and plan your tour!

Enjoy fresh, juicy peaches! Farm fresh eggs, local produce, SC products, hoop cheese and local honey. We serve hot dogs and sandwiches from 11-2. We will also have a variety of yummy baked goods from the bakery available. We will be making homemade peach ice cream all weekend! Fresh boiled p-nuts, SC’s favorite snack!
Artisans on Site: Suzanne Hunt (Baskets by Suzanne) Basket weaving with natural materials and Rock N' Art Graphics. Enjoy the sounds of PJ Brunson on Sunday!

Cedar Ridge Farm is owned by Eddie And Donna Brimer. Farming interests are timber and cattle. Their property is part of the old Kennedy estate In Sharon SC. The Kennedy family was a founding family of the Sharon community and lived and farmed on a 1500 acre tract at this location for generations. While at Cedar Ridge Farm, see woodcarving in process by Eddie Brimer. Eddie's work ranges from animals to humans to totem poles and beyond... with a emphasis on realism. He specializes in Native American themed projects. If you would like to preview some of Eddie's work, please visit his website at EB-creations.com. Karen Giles will be on-site on her potters wheel making beautiful one of a kind hand thrown pottery. Attention to detail and realism are karen's calling cards. Rick Gledhill will be onsite with his horseshoe art. Rick does amazing things with used horseshoes. Donna Brimer and Jackie Davis will be displaying and selling some of their hand made items too. Most of their creations are a country, handmade type. There will be acoustic music and singing on-site and free. Refreshments too! Come tour the big red barns and enjoy some peaceful time in the country. Located just outside of Sharon on Beersheba rd. Coming from Highway 5, It is the last place on the left. Coming from Sharon, it is 1/4 mile on the right after you turn onto Beersheba Rd.

775-acre historic site is home to several breeds of heritage farm animals and historic
crops of the Carolina Piedmont in the 18th and 19th
centuries. Come and see our flock of
Gulf Coast sheep, Dominique chickens, and Ossabaw Island hogs. Learn why these animals were important to our
ancestors. Also, see field crops and
gardens that were vital to the survival and success of the antebellum
plantation. On Saturday, on-going
hands-on demonstrations will be done by our costumed interpreters.
Shepard and Spinner, will be on-site
demonstrating the use of a treadle spinning wheel. Visitors can learn how to spin wool using
just their fingers. Hand and mill spun
yarn, roving and raw fleeces from York County sheep will be available for

We are a thoroughbred and warmblood horse breeding farm with a architecturally unique 20-stall barn. We have horses of various ages from foals to mature breeding stallions and mares.

Y9. Myersart & Farm

We have a large garden with vegetables; strawberries and/or blackberries will be available for picking and purchase. Children will be allowed to pick in the garden under parental supervision. We have a small greenhouse and can tell you how we grow vegetables all year. Bring your camera and containers to fill with berries and vegetables. Tour the pottery studio and purchase plates, bowls, teapots, angels and more. Children can make a small piece of pottery (bowl, plate or turtle); the clay is free! We have a large display room of functional and decorative pottery for purchase. This includes various sizes of bowls, cups, plates, wine glass holders, pitchers, and candleholders.

Old Town Farmers Market is Rock Hill's all-local farmers market. It is open Thursday evenings from 5pm to 8pm and Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm.
Enjoy live music while shopping the market for fresh produce, pastured meats, local honey, handmade arts-n-crafts, and more. There are also free children's activities at every market.

Come meet Dori Sanders at her Peach Farm Stand in Filbert, SC, a tiny community in York County, near Rock Hill, SC and Charlotte, NC. Her family operates one of the oldest African-American farms in the region (her father, a former sharecropper, bought the land around 1915.). The farm produces fruits and vegetables and specializes in growing Georgia Bells and Elberta peaches which are sold at an old fashioned roadside stand.

We are a 1926 heritage farm with original buildings. Come see our 100% grass fed beef, eggs from free-range hens, Christmas trees.
Children can enjoy crarts, hayrides and everyone can tour historical farm buildings all day!
David Chambers will be on-site with handcarved wood carvings, caricatures, walking sticks and more!

A family farm in Fort Mill, we have been providing microgreens, lettuces, herbs, and other specialty produce to restaurants, country clubs, and individuals in the Charlotte area for over 13 years. We use controlled environment agriculture techniques along with various hydroponic systems to provide year-round local produce to our customers.
You will be able to purchase lettuce, cucumbers, micro-greens, squash and squash blossoms.
Cooking demonstration for squash blossoms, squash soup, and lettuce wraps at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 21.
Lifeway Navajo Fiber Arts will be on-site
demonstrating Navajo weaving, Contemporary weaving and unique-functional-wearable fiber art pieces will be for sale.

Barns to Bedcovers” Quilt & Art show for the 3rd year as part of
the YC Ag + Art Tour! Visitors will see quilted items on display ranging
from utilitarian quilts to pieces of art truly indicative of what
quilting has become today, provided by the York County Quilters Guild.
In addition visitors will be treated to beautiful and original two
dimensional artwork on display and for sale, created
by members of the Yorkville Artists Guild. The featured watercolor
"Warm Memories" by Sandy Brindle will be on display with print copies
and notecards for sale.
As an added treat visitors are welcome to stroll through the historic Hill Mercantile which is graciously hosting this year;s show and will also feature story telling segments by John Carter.
Be sure to join us Sat, June 21 9am-5pm and Sun, June 22 1-5pm in historic Sharon, SC at the Hill Mercantile (Sharon Nursery & Garden Center) located at 3034 York St. Free admission.
